| Hi,I have free 2008 sql server management studio.When I right click the table, i don't find see option like "open". but there are options top 1000 rows or something like that.I want to open complete table. is it possible? |

That's not really what management studio is for.How about this:1) Right click on the database2) Select "New Query"3) type the following:SELECT * FROM <TheSchemaName>.<TheTableName>[code]4) in the result set you get right click and select "Copy With Headers"5) Paste into Excel or spreadsheet of choiceI'm assuming you don't want to edit the values? if you want to do that then you probably want to learn how to use the SQL UPDATE statement.Hope that helps.Transact Charlie[code]Msg 3903.. | Go to Tools -> Options -> SQL Server Object Explorer -> Commands and change the Values there to some very large value. |
