Iam new to SQL Serer administrationiam unable to create instances while installation..SSMS doesnt show me that instance creation part...it directly installs after selecting the featuresplease help |

| On installation, by default it will create DEFAULT instance, if you have not choosen only CLIENT TOOLs as an installation option. And why whould SQL Server Management Studio should show instance creation. Once instance is installed you can manage it through SSMS, can create datbases etc, but can never install INSTANCE using SSMS.--------------------------http://connectsql.blogspot.com/ |
