Hi everyone!
I am wondering if anyone knows a way to figure out how to compare performance in a SSIS load in BIDS' debugging mode versus the package running in a job task in SSMS? Of course you can look at the progress tab after the package has been debugged. But if the package takes half a day it would be nice to know the difference in performance prior to the execution.
Does anyone have a rule of thumb or perhaps something more accurate?
Thank you in advance. :)

you can use custom logging to log times for various tasks (pre and post execute) onto a sql table and analyse it.
