| We created a new windows user with a login of : mwhitleyAfter the user was created they realized the login name was incorrect so they renamed it to: mwhitelyWhen I go into SQL to add that user it is still seeing mwhitley. Is there some process that can be ran to get SQL to see the new renamed user? |

| It sounds like you mean add a new SQL Server Logon but as a Windows User. In that case create a new logon using the CREATE LOGIN syntax for the new mwhitelyJack Vamvas--------------------http://www.sqlserver-dba.com |
