| Thanks for replying,I figured it out after looking over all the settings like 30 times.It was I firewall I didnt know was there. I saw the link as I pressed "Reset server".So after reinstalling everything and changing the secret firewall it worked ! :) |

| I just recently rented a virtuel server, and the company who hosts the server apparently had an extra firewall just for safety. I configured and reconfigured windows firewall to allow for sql server traffic, but its a no go when you're on the wrong firewall :) |
