Dears,Few weeks ago I have installed SharePoint 2010 with SQL EXPRESS R2 version. Everything was working fine but today suddenly its shows an error with SQL that: the resulting cumulative database size exceed your licensed limit of 10240 MB per database. So now I got the licensed version of SQL standard 2008 R2 edition. So how I can upgrade from SQL 2008 R2 Express to SQL standard 2008 R2?In future Is this standard edition will show any limitations error?Regards,

Microsoft has pretty good documentation and information about supported upgrade paths. R2 Express to R2 Standard is supported. Take a look at this page and the links from there. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143393(v=sql.105).aspxWith standard edition very unlikely that you will ever run into database size limitation. There may be other limitations or feature limits - this page has details: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993.aspx

Dears,I upgraded it by using Upgrade from SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 wizard under SQL Server Installation Center and then I followed the steps and chosen the instance name as SQLEXPRESS and its upgraded to SQL 2008 standard version BUT my issue is that my SharePoint databases are under another instance called Sharepoint2010 and when I run this wizard again to upgrade this instance (Sharepoint2010) it shows "There are no features selected for upgrade"So how I can upgrade Sharepoint2010 instance also?
