| 1. create an excel (Book1.xlsm) with marco(msgbox("abc"), me.close() at workbook_Open.2. place the excel at C:2. Enable xp_cmdshell in MSSQL 20083. run query exec xp_cmdshell 'C:\Book1.xlsm'Result1. EXCEL services start in task manager.2. Nothing show up and the session&processes running non stop unless you stop the EXCEL services in task manager.Any ideas? |

| Try opening a command window and running the command manually.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
