I have about 100 reports that I need to rewrite to point to a new database with a slightly different schema. It'd be nice if I could create new data sets that point to the new data source and then disable them until I'm ready to deploy the modified reports, but I don't see a way to do that. Is copying the solution and doing all the modifications in the copy the best way? The problem with that is that changes could be made to the old solution and not the new one during the transition. |

I'm just gonna make copies of all the reports and modify the copies, then delete the old ones and rename the copies, then deploy the new ones. |
