Hi,

How to find out who stopped sql server servics (database service and agent service)?

I am facing this situation, SQL Server service and agent service stopped between 12:00 to 1PM.

I just want to know why these services stopped. Is there someone who have permissions to do this stuff or it is related to server i.e. memory issue etc.

Thanks

I checked event log. In system logs, in front of user name it shows N/A. Not shower who did it.

Possible, but there should be messages in the event log to indicate that. Check all System and Application logs for the time period when the service stopped.
