Hi everyone,I try to install SQLServer2005 and I get the following error: quote:
SQL Server Setup failed to obtain system information account information for the ASPNET account. To proceed reinstall the .NET Framework, and then run SQL Server again
How do i install .NET Framework ?Thanks a lot ! |

| Before you install or reinstall, check which versions of .Net you have installed. It is very unlikely that you do not have .Net 2.0 installed. Here is how to find: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785If you do't have .Net framework installed, download it from Microsoft (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/5a4x27ek(v=vs.80).aspx) and install it. SQL 2005 requires only .Net 2.0, and the link is for that. But you might as well install 3.5 or later version.Edit: Just noticed that the link that I posted takes you to .Net 4.5. You can go to any version you choose to from that page. |
