| I have never experienced this. Why are you backing up a database and then restoring it in the first place? Is it production?Tara |

| Maybe because the SPs are getting recompiled?Because the tr log is being cleared?A checkpoint is releasing memory?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
