Using SSRS 2012 I have created subscriptions for reports. The subscriptions email the reports at the time I need them.
However it also emails reports at times that I originally used for testing. i.e. these reports fire off at midnight and I am seeing them at midnight as expected and one of them again at 4pm.
An additional oddity is that I can create the report at my desk and export it as a PDF at my desk and everything is fine. However the emailed PDF report either contains an old formula or query because on of the cells in the report contain the placeholder NaN as the result of some older attempts.
This is my first time working with this version and I am not very experienced. Where do I even begin to look for a problem like this? Only the emailed PDF contains this error. But the old email and old formula possibility seems to be the direction to follow.

seems like you've duplicate set of subscriptions still existing at server which point to test versions. Have a look at subscriptions in report server.
this can be accessed by connecting to Reporting services instance and expanding home-> subscriptions
