Hi All,
I am getting this notification very often on SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO 2008R2.

When ever this happens i am closing the SSMS using task manager.
Did any body got the same notification and any solution to resolve this.

I have seen this too but not very frequently. I have read various reports that this is caused by anti virus blocking some processes. Also, see this page which has a workaround (which I have not tried) http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/254934/management-studio-is-waiting-for-an-internal-operation-to-complete

This also happens with Service Pack, either you update your Service Pack or if it is recently updated there must be some errors.
