| Hello there. Iam trying to install 2012 express.but after confirming T&Cs and after a few next buttons.then i get the following error.TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.------------------------------SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2012\x86\Microsoft.SQL.Chainer.PackageData.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.Error code 0x84B10001.For help, click: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=20476&ProdName=Microsoft%20SQL%20Server&EvtSrc=setup.rll&EvtID=50000&EvtType=0xD1842553%25400xBCB6F945------------------------------i have uninstalled my 2008 version. but still ok getting the error.does anyone know how i can sort this?RegardsRob |

| Sorry if this sounds too elementary - but, that sounds like a corrupt or incorrect download. Probably the easiest thing to try is to download it again from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29062 making sure that you are downloading the correct version (x64 or x86) |
