hii create a packge that transfer date from ole db source to oledb destionation.in ole db source i write simple query "select * from customers"but i have udf that i want to add in select :"select a,f_trn(cust) from customers"which component can i use this function? |

You should be able to use the modified query. Use two-part name for the udf that includes the schema:select a,dbo.f_trn(cust) from customers |

inbs .. As per James K, all you need to do is modify your query in your ole db source. It is assumed you are using SQL Command as data access mode in the ole db source task.Based on James K ..select *, dbo.f_trn(cust) as newColumnName from customersThe query will give you all columns from the customer table and newColumnName column |
