| I have found this sentence in a posting:"MS Visio is capable of reverse-engineering an existing database and creating an E-R diagram, including any existing FOREIGN KEY references."This is exactly what I need. But I cant seem to figure out how to do it. Can anybody advise please. Please note, that I am new to Visio. Thanks |

| Which version do you have?. I think it requires the pro version. I've used it several times and it works well. |

| Visio Standard 2002. Anyone know if I can still do it, or do I need to upgrade? |

You need Visio Professional to reverse-engineer and create/update databases. I think you can still do models, tho.~ monkey |

| Yeah, Visio Pro has the reverse-engineering functionality. It looks like I am going to be upgrading soon. |

Might want to hold out a bit if you can for Visio 2003. Should be pretty cool. 2002 is nice, but still has its quirks. Dunno if they've been worked out in 2003, i have the install disc right in front of me, hope to install it by the end of the week.~ monkey |
