I have a table named currentstock. If I execute a select query, after sometime an error message shows "Lock request timeout exceeded". When I try to take a backup, an error shows "A time out occur while waiting for buffer latch type 3, bp 02E4A898m Page 1:1035634 stat 0x2coooo9 database id 5,allocation unit id 72057596994912256, Error: 845 Severity: 17 State:1". Any one has idea to solve. I am using SQL Server 2005 sp3 version: 9.0.4035. with 40+ Subscribers (Merge Replication). Thanks and regards.Fazle Rabbeefazle rabbee |

Have you tried recycling SQL and/or rebooting? Could be an orphaned latch that there is no way to clean up without restarting SQL.-Chad |
