Sorry for the noob question, but for some reason I can't come up with the appropriate answer.What's the difference between DENYing, say EXECUTE, on sp_addlogin versus unchecking the permission check boxes within the Securable dialog of the GUI? |

Someone might have a permission that they derive from a group or role, you don't want to take that permission from the entire group, you can deny for just the one person.-Chad |
