Hi Experts,Need a small help as in one of our SQL Server 2008R2 we got a space issue on Tempdb, we took permission from the application owners and we restarted the sql services even then we see that the tempdb files are the same after doing restart. Please help me what I need to do so that I can reclaim my space from tempdb.Thank you all in advanceThank You All In AdvanceKRS39 |

What are you initial file sizes set to for tempdb? How do you know this is an issue, and not that tempdb just needs the space?-Chad |

When we are trying to run a job it is failing with an error saying Tempdb is full, so i got to know that the issue is with Tempdb.i tried to check what is causing the temp file full but there is nothing running as if now and the tempdb files are full and can not be reclaimed even if we do shrinking.the file size is 512mb with autogrowth of 10mb.Thank You All In AdvanceKRS39 |

Tempdb is full means tempdb is too small, not too big.-Chad |
