I would like to know that , if i start sql profiler the %processor time decreases, why is it so?
i.e my %processor time for sql is 70%, when i start profiler the %processor time drops to 50 or 60 %.why is it so?

Obviously, Processor now has to deal with Sql Profiler too apart from the other proceses ,dividing processor time. so the percentage of attention it gives to other proceses decreases.
