Hi,Is user account will be copied during database restoration from production to development or we need to create each and every time during restoration? |

The USERs are a database level concept and will be restored with the database. The LOGINs are a server level concept and are NOT carried forward by a database restore. You will want to verify that the IDs of the LOGIN and USER are the same.=================================================There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures. -James Thurber |

Hi Sara,I go with Bustaz; as long as logins are present with same user, your DB restore from Dev to prod shouldn't have any problem.Thanks. |
