| Hi ,In my production server it shows the tempdb drive is full, but when I check the property of tempdb i have engough space.When I restart the SQL SERVER instance it gets cleared.How to resolve this TEMPDB space without restarting the instance.I have a clustured environment....can anybody suggest ..thanks |

| Each method for shrinking TEMPDB has its own requirements - see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307487 The first two methods described here may require you to restart the server.If your tempdb gets full routinely after shrinking it, that just means that your databases require a lot of space in the tempdb.
