Hi,A server Admin installed SQL server 2008R standard on a Crystal server not realising that during the Crystal install it installed SQL server 2008R2 Express and setup the Instance. Now both are on the same server  . How do I move the Crystal instance to the Standard version and remove the express version without breaking Crystal?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Pamela |

| I think this is more of a question for Crystal Support than for SQL Server. You will need to do two things: 1. Copy the databases that Crystal installed in the Express to the default instance. 2. Modify settings in Crystal to point to the default instance. Crystal support should be able to answer questions about the devils that are hiding in the details |
