Is there any way I could export data to excel or other database(SQL Server 2008 or 2012) from SQL Server 2000 or earlier? I tried to use SQL Server Import and Export Wizard but It complains that SQL Server Native Client 11.0 doesn't support SQL Server 2000 or earlier |

Have you tried starting from your 2000 client tools (query analyzer or enterprise manager) to use their DTS wizard to export the data to your 2008/2012 server? If you have 2005 installed anywhere you should be able to backup/restore to 2005 then (upgrade the db to 2005) then backup/restore to 2012.At least you should be able to use the 2000 client to export to files then import those to your newer serverBe One with the OptimizerTG |
