Hi,
I have 2 fields in different tables,I need to find strim=ng in another string for example:
column1 column 2
'10' '10','11','12','13'
'1','2','3' '1','2','3','4','5'

FROM Table
WHERE ',' + column2 + ',' LIKE '%,' + column1 + ',%'

you need PATINDEX and not CHARINDEX as its pattern search


SELECT *
FROM Table
WHERE PATINDEX('%,' + column1 + ',%',',' + column2 + ',')>0
