database attached to sql server not found

database attached to sql server not found

i hve sql208 r2 on windows 7

i had a database attached on the regestered sql server
but few days back when i opned sql management studio the registered sever was not seen , after a lot of searching neither was the server seen nor could find the database

i am not sure as to wht happened with sql
i can reregister the sql but i am not able to find database on my system

any way it can be found & restored

search for the .mdf and re-attach. Otherwise, unless you have a backup, then there is no way.

please help me i am getting the flowing error when i try to attach a MDF file to sql server 2008. bilalbinamar@rediff.com

An Hospital.mdb is not the primary file, find the primary file and load that instead.
