Dear Member I have connect a sql Server2005 in Management Studio in Sql, I got following error.A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) (.Net SqlClient Data Provider) |

In start menu, go to sql server 2005/ Configuration tools/ Surface area configurationSelect Surface area configurations and connectionsRemote ConnectionsOn the right see named pipes is selected or not. You can go for either named pipes only or named pipes and TCP/IP.--Chandu |
