Afternoon All,I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the correct area, so if incorrect let me know. We're moving ERP systems at my company and I need to meet a numbering series requirement of the new software for my vendors and customers which matches a record within the old software, which also has to be unique. What i'm thinking is to use the primary key of the customer/vendor record and add my numbering series to the front so for example primary key 1578 gets copied into a new field called CUST001578.Any Thoughts? |

1. Is the old PK still unique in the new table?2. What is the CI on the new table? |
