Hi all,I am trying to reinstall sql server 2005 64bit developer edition on my 64 bit windows 8 os,I am getting the below error when installing sql server ############################################None of the selected features can be installed or upgraded. Setup cannot proceed since no effective change is being made to the machine. To continue, click Back and then select features to install. To exit SQL Server Setup, click Cancel.#############################################################Before that i've already uninstalled all sql server insances from add/remove programs.............please helpsree |

SQL Server 2005 is outdated and not supported on Windows 8. Although you can install.
