HI,I am running DBCC CHECKDB 'xyz' and using tempdb database space.when it is running consume 40 GB space in tempdb database.After finishing this dbcc checkdb command still 40 GB is ocupoied i.e I mean it is not released 40 GB.How can I release this 40 GB space from temdb database??Which command is used to release this so that I will get 40 gb space in tempdb.Pl help me.Regards,Pradeep Kumar Giripradeep kumar giri |

Did you try shrinking the database? However shrinking the database is a temporary solution, it will grow back again when you run the same transaction.Javeed Ahmed |
