After accessing the download site for SQL on Microsoft:
https://profile.microsoft.com/RegSysProfileCenter/wizard.aspx?wizid=932d09f6-e2d4-429d-bd3e-834adabc4f8f&lcid=1033&ci=51
There are a number of options to download. Question is - which one?
Fully comprehend the 32 bit and 64 bit, that's not the issue.

This is for a class and the text simply says, "Microsoft SQL Express" with any clarification whatsoever. GREAT!!

If this has been covered, I apologize for I could not find the topic addressed. Perhaps I searched on inadequate terms?

This is frustrating to me and from the comments I've encountered on the net, downloading SQL, and which SQL, is a BIG pain in the ole rear.

Your assistance, education, and helpfulness are most gratefully acknowledged!!

SQL Server 2014 Express with Advanced Services 64 Bit (or 32-bit if you have a 32-bit edition of WIndows)

Ahhhh thanks for that. I think(?) I saw someplace that has "everything" - whatever that means. Luckily I have 64 bit on this new HP, so will download that version.
Most helpful and do appreciate gbritton!
