Hello world!
I just started a course about SQL and we have started to talk about "business rules". I don't fully understand this and wonder if someone has the heart and time to explain, and hopefully give an example of this? Thank you in advance!

Google top result: "A business rule is a rule that defines or constrains some aspect of business and always resolves to either true or false. Business rules are intended to assert business structure or to control or influence the behavior of the business."

Some random examples of business rules that a retail business might have are a) reorder inventory item if the stock on hand is less than two days supply, b) calculate the shipping charges based on the the dollar amount of the shipment using a specified formula, etc.
