We are trying to limit our users to be able to ONLY access a specific set of db's. However, when I login as one of them....I can still create new databases on the server. Is there a way to prevent this?thanks- dw

Yes, remove them from the administrators group on the server. Or remove them from dbcreator fixed server role.Tara

Thanks Tara. I just realized that some of my test accounts were within the domain that was granted access as dbcreator. I'll resolve that!
