Virginia writes "Hi, The O/S is Windows NT with SP6 SQL Server 6.5 SP6.
I have a database backed up at 7:15pm nightly and then I run a backup on the Transaction log at 10pm ( this is to ensure all transactions are captured). Then I have another backup of the transaction log done from 6AM to 8PM daily. Every time this runs the schedule task fails. The message that I am getting is as follows:
DUMP TRANsaction is not allowed because log was truncated or DUMP DATABASE was never run. Must run DUMP DATABASE. (Message 4209)
I really need help with this ... I hope you can help me.
Thank you in advance, Virginia" |
