| I have my database .mdf and .ldf files in a safe location. Now i'm trying to attach it to the server (same physical location).But i receive the following error.----The header for file 'D:\FaData\dbbackup\Fadatabase_log.lDF' is not a valid database file header. The PageAudit property is incorrect.-----Please help me as soon as possible. |

| Use sp_attach_single_file_db and only attach the .mdf.Jay White{0} |

| Hay Jay whiteThanks for the reply, I have already tried the same, it doesn't work.When single file db attach is executed, it raises"Cannot locate row in sysdatabases..........run checktable.."i have also executed dbcc checktable on sysdatabases.But no way i could get a solution...Ananth-India |

| Please post the code that you are using. Also, did you delete the LDF file or rename it prior to trying to attach the database? If you don't do either or at least move it to another directory, then it is going to use the same one over and over again.Tara |
