| Does anyone know if you can specify a specific DB to use in Enterprise Manager (EM)? I'm going to a server over a network that has about 200 dbs on it. When I open EM, all I want to do is manipulate mine. Is there a way I can tell EM to just bring back my db instead of all 200 dbs?TIA! |

| Nope.That's why you should use Query Analyzer instead. With Query Analyzer, you just do this:USE DBNameGOWhy not use multiple instances on the server so that you don't have this problem?Tara |

| That's what I thought, thanks. I don't have any control over this server, only my db...No, they only give me access to mine, but I still see all of the dbs on the server... |
