How can I delete Transaction logs for a particular Database in MS SQL Server 2000. Please help me on this.

why do you want to do this??? .

still, herez the command.

dump transaction databasename with no_log

Thanks for your prompt reply,

I wanted to delete this logs to free up the space from the harddisk as it is occupying a lot of them. Please let me know if this the safest way to do it...like this will not corrupt the existing SQL data.

Look at shrinking them. Don't delete them.

Think about it this way, if your bank rang you up and told you that you had $x in your account, but they deleted all the transactions that you had made. And you just had to take their word for it, how would you feel ?

That is how your database will feel if you delete it's logs.
