| Gilbert writes "I have 2 Windows 2000 Servers with SP1 and SQL 7.0 SP3 on both servers. The 2 servers are in our DMZ but there are alot of lock downs, icmp blocks, netbios blocks between them. The servers also have tcp/ip port filtering on them. The ports avail are 21,80,1433,3380. I want to create a replication between the two servers with server A as a primary and server B has a warm standby. I am having problems getting replication to work between the two servers. Server A is setup as a distribution server and a publisher. What ports do I need to open to complete replication?" |
