| HiUsing full Backup Model. At the end of backup ( database and log files) say atleast 4 hours later, do a shrink of the log file using enterpirse manager.The current size of log file is 705 MBSpace in use is 207 MBI am setting the shrink size to 500 MB but the current size is not changing. The enterprise manager reports "The shrink was successful' but if you check the log file size - the current size is still 705 MBSuggestions welcomeThanksSanjay |

| Have you tried DBCC SHRINKFILE? Run it from Query Analyzer.Tara |
