Stumped writes "I'm trying to get the full text search to work on an nvarchar field of a sql server 7.0 table but can't seem to get the catalog to populate. The full_text search service is running. The database and the table are both enabled. When I perform a Start Population-->Full Population from Enterprise Manager the message "Start Population started successfully" but when I check the properties of the catalog it shows that there are 0 items in the indexes and the searches using CONTAIN don't return any results.
I've stopped and started the Search Services, but the problem still persists. I'd appreciate any help you can give.
