I have a domain called GST. My exchange server is in another domain called GSTNET. I setup a profile for the SQLMail and it tests fine. Although when I try to use xp_sendmail I get the following:
Server: Msg 18025, Level 16, State 1, Line 0
xp_sendmail: failed with mail error 0x80040111
This error indicates that the authentication is failing. Even though the xp_startmail and xp_stopmail work fine and without error.
