| Hello again,I have to create a DR (Disaster Recovery) from my sql server database. I have two options in mind. First option is Log Shipping and second option is applying of Differential/Transactional backups regularly on the DR server. Which of the above two options is most suitable. In the sense, which of the two will take less time to recover in case of a disaster.Pls. advice.Thanks and RegardsNishith |

| Both options are the same. You can only use Log shipping if you have purchased an Enterprise Edition license though. But both do the same thing. One is already built into SQL Server with Ent. Edition, the other you have to write yourself.Tara |
