Has anyone ever used this forum? I'm thinking about using it for my DBAs bitching and groaning site, and wonder if anyone has any experience with it.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |

I'm getting around to that. (grin) I bought meanolddba.com and I'm making a web blog. I want to have it show up in the SQLTeam blogs if possible. I really enjoy this website and what Bill and you guys have done here.I want my site to have a specific slant towards DBA humor and ummm, "slanted opinions" though, thus a forum with several topics probably not appropriate for here would fit quite nicely in my site. Also, it's a great way to learn, since I'm writing it in C# and ASP.NET. The link for the forum is www.yetanotherforum.net. It's open source, so I can play around with it and learn to my hearts content while I bitch and moan about the world as it should be.PERFECTLY NORMALIZED!!!!! (grin)As long as I learn what I'm setting out to learn, having the website is just an added bonus. Have wanted to do it for a long time anyway.I was just wondering if anyone here had ever heard of the forum and had any advice, warnings, etc.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
