Hello

I have a table with 22Gb, and now i want to delete it, so i ask, how should i do it, with less impact to my prodution enviroment?

Droping the table ou deleting the registers and them droping the table?

How could i measure it?

Tks for your time

Just drop the table. Then run DBCC UPDATEUSAGE after-hours to correct the usage information.

Deleting the table, then dropping it will be very slow. So skip the delete part.

If you dont need it anymore, droping could be fine, but if you plan to use it again in sometime may be truncating is better than deleting. See BOL for "TRUNCATE TABLE" statament.
