Hi all

I received the following message in the application log files while the QA team is tesing the application.

06:40:31 [ERROR ] com.inet.tds.ao: The connection is closed: there was an error on the database could not rollback the transaction

I checked at the SQL server logs and found any thing odd.

what does the above error indicates..

Thanks.

That looks to be an error from the driver. I wish that drivers would just send the SQL Server error back to the client rather than changing it to a custom one.

At any rate, looks like it tried to rollback a transaction and couldn't. Possibly means you've got orphaned data out there. You've probably got a bug in your code as well.

It's hard to help much without seeing the relevant code.
