I've tried to configure merge replication between SQL2005 and SQL Express use Web synchronize but the status of subcription is always uninitialized although I reinitialized it. Could you tell me the way to start it ?Thank so much. |

I think every thing is OK. I did not see any errors when I setup up both Publication and Subcription. I've tried to reinitialize my subsciption by Windows Synchronize I've got this error: How should I do now? |

In addition, I've got this error when trying synchronize with Windows Synchronize:"The Merge Agent could not connect to the URL 'https://nhha/Replication/replisapi.dll' during Web synchronization. Please verify that the URL, Internet login credentials and proxy server settings are correct and that the Web server is reachable."I'm sure that I did not made mistake for my account to make security Agent run. |

How in the world can you use a MERGE replication with SQL Express? SQL Express does not come with the requisite tools, does it? You can replicate TO SS Express, but not FROM SS Express, so I would not expect a MERGE replication to work. Or is there a deep dark secret I don't know about? |
