I creted a parameterized report for labels. Added a few textboxed to the list, adjusted the report body so it is exactly the same size as the list report item. On the report properties dialog box, I selected Layout tab, change Columns to 3, 0in for Spacing. The report layout looks correct, there are 3 columns, but in Preview tab there is only one column(?), I expected to see 3 columns. If I clicing the Print Layout toolbar button in Preview tab, page became black in color, no data at all. The question is: why data displayed on the report in one column instead of 3 columns?MY |

Are you setting hidden properties for the other columns? |

no. Schould I set hidden properties for other columns? For the Mailing Labels report problem is that there a limitation in SQL Server RS that make printing certain reports difficult if not impossible, especially AVERY-type mailing labels that print on laser or inkjet printers.Another problem (black page in print layout view)exists for all reports I created, even for simplest. So, I can not preview all my reports.MY |
