not sure exactly what you are asking for. if you want to know the query plan for a query, then run it in SSMS with the "include actual execution plan" button checked.if you want to see the plan without running the query, you can use the "show estimated execution plan" button. elsasoft.org |

You have to look at the query plan to find out how sql server will do things for a given query. SQL is a declarative language. you say what you want, not how you want the server to do it. to find out how it will do it, you have to look at the query plan. elsasoft.org |
