| I am new to administrationI know how to take backups and restoring full database backup.can you plz help me how can i restore differential , transaction log backups. |

| To restore differential & transaction log...First restore your full backup with norecovery. Then restore your differential backup with norecovery (syntax is same). Then restore your transaction log backup with norecovery using restore log except last transaction log. Restore last tranaction log with recovery. |

| HI FRIENDI WAS TRYING TO DO THIS ... BUT I M NOT GETTING. WHENEVER I M TRYING TO RESTORE WITH NO RECOVERY IT IS NOT GETTING RESTORED.ITS SHOWING 'DATABASE NAME (RESTORING.............).BUT IT IS NOT .HELP ME OUT FRIEND.Thanks |

| You are in right track. You have to choose Recovery option to completely restore. |
