| What about queries from you app? Look at those and see which are running long.If you want to test, shut reporting services down and see if the app speed improves--Gail Shaw |

| ok.but will that impact on other services..i.e. my app using SSIS.whats purpose of running reporting services everytime????if we shut down this reproting service forever?????T.I.ARegards |

| I never said to shut it down forever. Shut it down briefly (10-15 min) and see if performance improves. If it does, then report services is to blame. If performance remains very slow, then there's another cause--Gail Shaw |
